About & legal

FanGamesDB is a directory of recompiled, decompiled and fan-remade games projects that make console classics run natively on PCs and handhelds without an emulator.

What we do not host: ROMs, ISOs, compiled builds, patches containing copyrighted assets, or any game files. Every indexed project distributes only its own original code and expects the user to supply a legally obtained copy of the original game.

Takedowns: if you are a rights holder and believe a linked project infringes your rights, contact us and we will remove the listing promptly.

Data sources: awesome-game-decompilations, the N64Recomp / XenonRecomp / PSXRecomp communities, and project repositories themselves.
