Nebula (Super Mario Galaxy PC recomp)

Recompilation of Super Mario Galaxy for Windows. The game's PowerPC code is translated to C++ ahead of time, then compiled on your PC from your own copy of the game, and runs on a native runtime with a Direct3D 12 renderer and Windows audio and input. Playable from the start, but some areas run below full speed; the project is a work in progress. Works with keyboard and mouse, Xbox controllers and the Switch Pro Controller, whose motion controls follow Super Mario Galaxy's own scheme. Resolution and aspect ratio can be changed in game, including on a second display. Interpolation and Wii Remote support are not yet included. The author reports smooth play at 16:10 2K on an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with integrated graphics. Nebula includes an opt-in diagnostic recording in NebulaSettings.exe that produces a ZIP to send back to the author. Mario's physics and the game's logic are not AI-written, according to the README; the recompiler, runtime, installer and tests are. The author credits Petari, a separate project; Luma's Workshop is working on a Petari-based port.
